Home elevators priced in this mid-range cover the majority of residential elevator installations. These are your typical elevators for homes, with weight capacities ranging from 750 to 1000 lbs. There are many options available, from glass gates with automatic operation to exotic wood paneling and oxidized bronze trim. Drive systems may be roped-hydraulic, cable drive, traction drive or counter-weighted chain drive. Cab size is limited by code to 15 sq. ft. with standard cab sizes of 3 ' x 4 ' and 3 ' x 5 '.
